What do our Mebane dentists do?

In dental school, our dentists trained to perform a multitude of dental services. We perform many procedures including:

• Cosmetic dentistry: i.e., teeth whitening
• Orthodontics: i.e., Invisalign

• Restorative dentistry: i.e., dental crowns
• Preventive dentistry: i.e., mouth guards, teeth cleanings, examinations, fluoride treatment

What happens at the first dental visit?

1. New patients make an appointment at our Mebane dental office.
2. One of our dentists will meet patients after we take proper diagnostic images. These images (i.e., radiographs) allow the doctor to diagnose any dental problems you might have adequately.
3. We develop a proper treatment plan based on each patient’s specific needs. This plan can include recommendations for control of tooth decay and periodontal disease.
4. Afterward, we begin dental treatment. We typically start with the worst issues first. For example, if patients have a tooth hurting, we would address that tooth before other surgery.
5. We focus on preventive care (i.e., fluoride and sealants) and comprehensive conservative operative dentistry (i.e., white fillings and crowns
6. Our team of dentists, assistants and dental hygienists work closely together to manage oral health.
