Dental insurance verification

EASY AS 1-2-3

Step 1: Take a pic

Take a picture of your dental insurance card and send it to us by email or bring it by in person. We’ll verify your benefits. Most insurances cover preventive care at or almost 100% such as radiographs, cleanings and exams.

Step 2: Insurance breakdown

You’ll talk to one of our insurance specialists who will give you an insurance breakdown. If you need further treatment after your first visit, we’ll let you know what deductibles and copays you might owe.

Step 3: We handle all the billing!

After your dental treatment, we do all the billing for you on our end! If you owe more than what was estimated, we’ll let you know. We offer CareCredit financing for patients that qualify.

Will insurance cover my first visit?

Most insurances cover close to 100% for most visits, but each insurance is different. It’s your responsibility to understand your insurance plan. However, we will provide you with an insurance breakdown and help you determine associated costs prior to treatment.

How does dental insurance work?

Most dental insurances are broken into three categories: (1) preventive care, (2) basic care, and (3) major treatment. Most, but not all, insurances go by a 100 to 80 to 50 rule, where 100% preventive care is covered by insurance, 80% basic care is covered by insurance, and 50% of major dental treatment is covered by dental insurance. Preventive dental treatment includes regular teeth cleanings, examinations and radiographs. Basic treatment includes services such as extractions and fillings. Major services include crowns, dentures, scaling and root planing, and root canals.
