Dr. Steinbicker makes both partial and full dentures. This includes tooth extractions prior to fabrication, if necessary. At Steinbicker Family Dentistry we can deliver your prosthesis at the same appointment as the teeth are extracted.
We Make Full Dentures and Partial Dentures
While dental implants and saving your natural dentition are the best option for function, sometimes a patient’s only choice are dentures. These people might have had bad teeth there entire lives. Some patients that need a prosthesis have severe periodontal disease which results in tooth loss. Others, have traumatic accidents that leave them without teeth. Regardless the reason, we make dentures for patients for all sorts of reasons. If more retention of the prostheses is necessary, we recommend and perform overdentures which involves clasping dentures on to generally two to four implants.
New prostheses might feel odd until you where them for a few weeks. It is not unusual to develop sore spots or irritations. After your prosthesis is delivered, you will return for a few visits to get it adjusted to eliminate sore spots. Just like your natural teeth, you should brush your false teeth to keep them clean and remove stain.
